Artistic Director & CEO - Julia Twomlow
Julia Twomlow was appointed as the first Artistic Director and Chief Executive for Rothesay Pavilion charity in November 2015, moving to Bute from Cornwall where she was Director of the Leach Pottery Museum and Studio which she relaunched after its restoration in 2008. Previously Julia was Director of the Acorn Theatre in Penzance, a community arts centre where she led on the restoration and relaunch. Julia also works for the Clore Leadership Programme as a member of their facilitation team, delivering their residential Short Courses and Emerging Leaders courses for the cultural sector.

Project Manager - Peter McDonald
Peter McDonald was appointed by Argyll and Bute Council as Project Manager for the Rothesay Pavilion redevelopment in 2015. A qualified Chartered Surveyor, Peter worked for two national Housing Associations in England from 1983–1994 and was responsible for social housing development programmes across northern England. He moved to Bute in 1994 to take up the role of Development Director for Fyne Homes and remained in that position for 16 years delivering a number of innovative housing projects, including the first social housing on the island of Gigha as well as the first Passivhaus in Scotland in Dunoon.
